Stand Alone Entertainment Owner/DJ Meyers Fryback brings 20 years and nearly 600 professional DJ and MC gigs worth of experience to your event and will make sure your event runs smoothly. With an emphasis on Turntablism and professional level MCing, Meyers will direct your timeline or agenda AND he will create a Club-Like atmosphere on your dance floor that your guests will remember for years to come! His solid reputation as a capable professional and exciting entertainer has garnered the respect of Colorado and New Mexico’s local wedding planners, venue managers, wedding merchants, and community at large.  Stand Alone Entertainment is a ‘Preferred Vendor’ at EVERY major venue in SW Colorado and Northern New Mexico.

Bio

Meyers Fryback was born and raised in Durango, CO, where he continues to reside today.  He has 6 siblings (5 brothers and 1 sister) and is married to his lovely wife Kimberly since 2014.  Meyers is a graduate of Durango High School in 1998 and Fort Lewis College in 2006.  His love for music and people lead him to become a career DJ, which has been a full time endeavor since 2016.  Meyers also volunteers in SW Colorado with numerous non-profits.

Kimberly and Meyers live with their two silly Spaniels, Wizard and Paws, and an overly friendly tabby cat named Tibe (say ‘tee-bay’).  They were married on Oahu with a small group of family and friends in the winter of 2014.  Since then they have pursued traveling as their pastime and have together seen parts of Africa, Ireland, New Zealand and Australia, the Hawaiian Islands, Southeast Alaska, numerous state and national parks, and large parts of the continental USA.  Kim and Meyers hope to travel to Japan in the fall of 2022, and Antarctica and Patagonia in the coming years.  Kim is an accomplished photographer, often using her husband and family members as subjects.  Meyers and Kim spend much of their free time with family in Colorado, Texas, Florida, and Maine.

Meyers was raised to love all things outdoors and continues to engage in many outdoor pursuits. Since 2010, he has also been an avid golfer.  During warmer months Meyers enjoys losing golf balls with his buddies on courses across the Southwest.  In winter months, Meyers can usually be found on Lift 8 at Purgatory Resort.  He has yet to be banned from the resort for his youthful transgressions.  Whatever the endeavor, Meyers is continually pursuing his life’s motto of “Cool Shit & Fun Stuff”, which is widely open to interpretation.
